Sage XRT Advanced 3.2

Platform

Handling of decimals during import/export process by structure

Three fields have been added to the structure setup, to specify the number of decimals to handle when processing import or export by structure.

Decimals Number

This field enables you to specify the number of decimals for “Number” fields other than amounts (Rates, Versions, Numbers in Cash Flows entity, etc.).

During the import process, the rounding based on IEEE754 (2008) standard applies.

  • All Significant: The exact number of decimals used in the imported file or in the database of Sage XRT Advanced is applied.

  • 1 to 9: a number from 1 up to 9 decimals is applied.

Decimal Separator for Amounts

In this field, you can specify the symbol used to separate the integer part from the fractional part of numbers.

  • ".": dot

  • ",": comma

  • None: without separator

  • As Decimal (default): the option selected for Decimal Format is applied.

Decimals Number for Amounts

This field allows you to specify a specific number of decimals for amounts.

  • All Significant: The exact number of decimals used in the imported file or in the database of Sage XRT Advanced is applied.

  • 1 to 9: a number from 1 up to 9 decimals is applied.

  • By Currency: the number of decimals set up for the currency is applied.

  • As Decimal (default): the option selected for Decimals Number is applied.

"Replace" option for imports by structure

When importing files via a structure, Sage XRT Advanced allows you to remove specific data matching a condition.

You must have defined the condition first and assigned it to the import task (manual or automatic).

User Defined Fields: increased length of "String" field

You can now set a length of 512 alphanumeric characters, instead of 256, for String fields.

Attachments for bank accounts

In Setup, you can now attach multiple documents to bank accounts.

In the General information tab, click the Add button in the Attachments section, specify a document type, select the file, and save it with the account.

Simplified display of properties on view configuration box

When you click the View button or select the Edit action next to the current view name, the configuration box appears.

To simplify setting up the view, the display of paths in the Property column of the Columns tab has been improved.

Added date control option for bank imports

For bank imports, linked to Cash and Reconciliation modules, the dates control is now separated from the balances control. In the Global Application Settings of the Administration module, the Balances Control option has been replaced by two new options.

Balances amounts continuity check

When the option is disabled, no control is performed on bank statement balances.

When enabled, the check is performed when statements are posted to the current module. A statement can be posted if:

  • its initial balance matches the final balance of the last posted statement,

  • there are no rejected entries.

Warning: This option must be activated before the production phase.

Balances dates continuity check

This drop-down list offers the following options:

  • None (default): no control is performed on bank statement dates.

  • Later or Equal: the initial balance date must be later than or equal to the final balance date of the day-1 statement.

  • Later only: the initial balance date must be strictly after the final balance date of the day-1 statement.

  • Equal only: The initial balance date must be strictly equal to the final balance date of the day-1 statement.

Improved security of encryption key password

Password management for the encryption key is now subject to a security policy.

By default, users do not have access to this feature.

Reminder: file encryption is not applied to the file import function (bank, accounting, forecasts, etc.).
