Modifying Schedules
Modifying schedules in Debts & Investments module is a rather smooth process.
If some elements of a schedule must be changed before reconciliation, two methods exist depending on the type of modifications.
Direct Modification with Recalculation
Specify a new value directly in the cell of the table AND click the Recalculate button to modify the following elements:
-
Maturity Date
-
Amortization
-
Interest Rate

Let's consider a variable rate term transaction with reconciled elements in the amortization table.
For the 4/10/2023 maturity, you want to modify:
-
the maturity date
-
the amortized amount
-
the applied rate
For the maturity date, change the Theoretical Date directly in the cell of the corresponding column.
Recalculate the interests amount according to the new date:
2,187.50 compared with 2,236.11. Save the modification.
For the amortized amount, modify the Amortization directly in the cell of the corresponding column.
Recalculate the interests amount according to the new amortization. Save the modification.
For the applied rate, modify the Interest Rate directly in the cell of the corresponding column.
Recalculate the interests amount according to this new rate. Save the modification.
Once the maturity corresponds to what you want, proceed with the reconciliation.
Direct Modification without Recalculation
Specify a new value directly in the cell of the table, without Recalculation, to modify:
-
Only the interests amount
-
The combo interests amount plus rate value
Once the maturity corresponds to what you want, proceed with the reconciliation.
